Feet on the Street (FOTS) Agent

About the role

Digicel, a digital connectivity and communications provider serving nine million customers across the Caribbean, Central and South America, is looking for energetic, people-focused individuals to act as Feet on the Street (FOTS) agents in Kingston. As a FOTS agent you will meet customers in communities and neighbourhoods, sell Digicel mobile products and services, and help people find the right mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers in communities and neighbourhoods across your assigned area.
• Promote and sell Digicel mobile products and services, including SIM cards, mobile devices, postpaid plans, prepaid services, top-ups and number porting.
• Build relationships with potential customers and convert opportunities into sales.
• Help customers understand the products and services best suited to their needs.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Complete customer applications and sales documentation accurately, and keep accurate records of prospects and completed sales.
• Safeguard company stock, devices and cash collected during sales activities.
• Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Required profile

• Loves interacting with people and building relationships; confident, persuasive and results oriented.
• Enjoys working in the field and engaging customers face to face.
• Can work independently while staying focused on targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; adaptable, proactive and eager to learn.
• At least three CSEC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail or direct marketing is an asset.
