Consumer Insights Analyst

About the role

Bluedot is hiring a Consumer Insights Analyst in Kingston, reporting to the Chief Consumer Insights Officer. The role analyzes data to identify key trends and provides actionable insights that guide strategic decisions. It is a full-time position with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of research studies, including survey and questionnaire development and sample selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business objectives and build research plans that support business growth.
• Keep up to date with the latest research methods, tools and technologies, and look for ways to improve research quality and accuracy.
• Gather consumer insights using qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups and data analytics.
• Analyze and interpret data to find patterns and trends, using statistical techniques to draw conclusions.
• Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, presenting complex data in a concise, visual way.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, marketing, analytics or statistics.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in customer insights, market research, data analysis or a similar role.
• Ability to manage several research projects at once while meeting deadlines, and to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills; self-motivated and adaptable to change.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of data analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R).
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
