Senior Digital Marketing Officer

About the role

Digita Global Marketing Ltd. (DGM), a full-service communications, creative and advertising agency based in Kingston, Jamaica, is recruiting a Senior Digital Marketing Officer. The role leads the execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish, including online advertising, and works closely with the CEO and Marketing Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Lead marketing campaigns from ideation through creation and monitoring, including online advertising
• Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
• Assess the marketing team and partner departments to ensure everyone contributes to the assigned strategies and campaigns
• Oversee the marketing department's progress so strategies are implemented successfully
• Use photography and videography skills to support campaign execution
• Work with the creative team to guide creative direction for print, digital and video assets
• Manage distribution of content across media platforms, especially social media, and measure its impact
• Run social media marketing, including live blogging, strategy creation, page management and customer service, and evaluate campaign effectiveness
• Create and sign off on content calendars and strategies
• Liaise with clients to understand their vision and deliver it
• Create and run email marketing campaigns
• Monitor and report on online advertising (social, Google AdWords, Mailchimp, website, media)
• Manage creative production of online and offline assets, including graphic design, video production and web development
• Train and mentor junior marketing team members and help generate new sales

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing or higher
• Digital Marketing certification
• At least three years of experience in digital marketing

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics and Facebook Insights
• Working knowledge of ad-serving tools
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints
